Fits in your PocketThese busnell 8x21 model binoculars have been my sidekick at mutilple theatre experiences over the last 15 years. I picked them initially to fit in my pocket as I ushered at a large multi theatre complex in my city. They needed to fit in a blazer pocket so that I could do my assigned job , slide into a theatre seat and be ready to watch the performance. The ability to see the performers in close up detail from the last row, or the upper balcony, or even standing by the back wall caused me to rejoice in my choice. The magnification produced by these compact binoculars did the perfect job. I have reveled in the quality , magnification and compact size of these binoculars. Other ushers have admired them and I am ordering two more Busnell 8x21 model for friends who use the theatre. Good job Bushnell! Read more...

Great Bargain I already had a pair without any adjustment, but these let me adjust for the days my older eyes don't want to work so well. They are crisp, clear images. Weight is an issue for me, and these aren't so heavy that they become unmanageable. With all the snow, I haven't been able to use them much, since I got them for star gazing & snow comes with a lot of clouds. I like that the lens caps come off entirely, since my other pair has a strap attaching the larger ones, which only get in the way all the time. For the price, you can't beat them. I should have gotten these first. There's a carrying case and neck strap, with lens cloth -- a LOT for your money -- plus the Bushnell reputation for quality no matter what the price you paid. All in all, a very satisfying purchase. I did check out our local woods when they arrived, and branches were so clear you could almost touch them, so I assume they would do for birding also. you get what you pay forIt works...no question. It is exactly what you pay for however. VERY cheap magnification. A steady hand on a still target...
If you want practical use, this may not be for you. Searching for things like spider mites I found VERY difficult. The magnification is actually too high for quickly scanning leafs....even on its lowest setting. IF you found something, the combination of steadying the plant as well as the scope was a pretty big job. If the target was not directly in the center of your field of view, it was severely out of focus, and the "center" was off to the top right of what is actually dead center of my scope.
Kinda fun...has a few uses, but not practical for anything but amusement. Read more...

| Features• Affordable riflescope for .22 caliber rimfire rifles • 32mm objective lens; 3x-9x magnification • Fully-coated optics; 1/3 M.O.A fingertip windage • Easy-grip power change rings included • Objective lens: 32mm
Works great. Was easy to install on the top of my 10/22 factory rail. Windage and elevation knobs have a nice click when you turn them so you know when they're moving. Took about 5 minutes to sight it in, and it's held zero for 4 more trips to the range and over 3000 rounds since then. Even when stripping the 10/22 for cleaning and resting the reciever upside-down on the sight, it has held zero.
Magnification adjustment is smooth. The 9x zoom reaches out to 75 yards nicely. Shooting at one hundred yards is possible with this scope, not easy, but possible. At that range though, you're running into the limit of 22LR's capability, so I can't complain that the scope isn't equally useful at 100 yards as it is at 25-75 yards. Read more...

| Features• FirstScope Telescope • 76mm aperture reflector optical tube • Moveable tube for ease of navigation for viewing • Lightweight, portable • Two eyepieces included
Not what I expectedThis is the first telescope I purchased. I was expecting a very easy to use telescope. First, the instructions were practically non -existent. Second, the strength of the telescope was not that great even with the eye pieces. finally, it was very difficult trying to find an object in the telescope that was right in front of me ( ie: full moon). When my 3 girls tried to see the moon through the telescope they moved it slightly, resulting in the moon disappearing. perhaps this happens with other telescopes, but I expected a more 'kid friendly' easy to use one. I can not see how anyone can find Jupiter, Saturn, etc with this and know that the bright dot is actually a planet and not a star. I returned this item. Read more...
